Stop chasing work. Let the work come to you.

Most owner-operators find jobs by grinding job boards and cold-calling contractors, then hoping the invoice gets paid. ReadyRig replaces that with vetted local requests and a payout that's secured before you start.

The usual way

Hustling for the next job

  • Scrolling job boards and bidding blind
  • Cold-calling contractors for scraps of work
  • Chasing an invoice for 30–60 days after
  • No protection if a customer stiffs you
With ReadyRig

Jobs and payouts, handled

  • Local job requests come to you
  • You quote your own rate and minimum
  • Payment is funded before you start
  • Released to you on completion, via Stripe

From listing your rig to getting paid, in four steps.

You stay in control of your rate, your machine, and your calendar. ReadyRig handles the request and the money so you don't have to.

List your equipment

Add the machine you run, your service area, your hourly rate and your minimum billable hours. Get verified once, up front.

Get local job requests

Renters near you send requests for the work they need. You see the job before you commit to anything.

Send your quote

Reply with an itemized offer at your rate and minimum. Quote only the jobs worth your time; skip the rest.

Do the work, get paid

The renter funds the job when they accept. You run it, mark it complete, and your payout releases via Stripe.

Funded before you start

Your payout is protected before you turn a key.

The single biggest risk in operated work is finishing a job and fighting to get paid. ReadyRig removes it: the money is committed up front and released to you when the work is done.

Funded at acceptance, held until done

When a renter accepts your quote, they pay. The funds sit held and secure, not on a promise.

Paid out on completion via Stripe

Finish the job, mark it complete, and your payout is released to your account. No 30–60 day invoice chase.

Disputes have a defined path

If a job goes sideways, there's a clear resolution process behind you instead of a shouting match with a customer.

Your rate is your rate

You quote the hourly rate and minimum that make a job worth doing. ReadyRig never sets your price for you.

What you need to get started.

ReadyRig verifies every operator before they can quote. That's what lets renters trust the marketplace, and it keeps the jobs serious.

Operator questions, answered.

The things every owner-operator asks before signing up. Straight answers. If yours isn't here, email us.

How much can I earn?

You set your own hourly rate and minimum billable hours, so your earnings are yours to price. As market context, operated work commonly runs roughly $95–$150/hour for full-size excavators and $80–$110/hour for mini excavators, usually with about a six-hour minimum.

ReadyRig doesn't set or guarantee a rate. You do. Our job is to bring you the requests and secure the payment.

What does it cost to list my equipment?

Listing your rig and receiving job requests is free during the Florida pre-launch. ReadyRig earns a service fee only when you complete a paid job. Joining the waitlist and getting set up early costs nothing.

What's the difference between operated and bare rental?

Bare rental is the machine only. The customer brings their own operator. Operated rental (sometimes called wet rental) means the machine comes with a qualified operator who runs it.

ReadyRig is built specifically for operated rental: you show up and run your own equipment. It's the work the big bare-rental yards don't really serve.

How and when do I get paid?

The renter funds the job when they accept your quote, and the money is held securely until the work is complete. When you finish and mark the job done, your payout is released via Stripe. You never run a job hoping the invoice clears later.

What do I need to qualify?

The equipment you intend to run, valid licensing and commercial insurance, and passing ReadyRig's operator verification (identity, licensing and insurance) before you can send quotes. It's a one-time check that protects both sides.

What areas are covered?
