What you can do with an excavator.

If a job involves moving dirt, an excavator is usually the machine for it. These are the jobs operators on ReadyRig take on.

Digging & trenchingFoundations, footers, utilities
DemolitionStructures, concrete, tear-outs
Land clearingBrush, stumps, grubbing
Grading & site prepPads, rough grade, backfill

Why book an excavator with the operator, not just the machine.

Rent an excavator bare and you're on the hook for hauling it, running it, and guessing at the right size. Book it with an operator on ReadyRig and a vetted pro turns up with the machine and does the work. One price covers the equipment and the labor, and you sign off on it before anyone starts.

It's the difference between a rental counter and a finished job. You describe the work. An operator quotes their rate and minimum, and your money stays protected until the job's done.

How renting an excavator with an operator works.

The whole job runs as one transaction, so nobody's wiring a deposit on a handshake.

Request a quote

Tell an operator the job, the site, and roughly the hours. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Get a real price

They send an itemized offer: the excavator, labor at their hourly rate, and a minimum you agree to up front.

Accept & fund

Approve the offer and pay securely. Your funds are held, not released until the work is finished.

Work done, paid out

The operator does the job and marks it complete. Payment releases, with dispute protection behind both sides.

What does an excavator with an operator cost?

You'll see the price before you commit, because the operator quotes the job. For rough market context, operated excavator work tends to run about $95 to $150 an hour for a full-size machine and $80 to $110 for a mini, usually with a minimum around six hours. Bigger machines and specialized work run higher.

ReadyRig doesn't set or guarantee these rates. Each operator sets their own hourly rate and minimum, and you approve the number before any work begins.
